More long overdue news updates

Apologies for our tardiness in keeping this page updated.  Vanderbilt Samoyeds and their kids are out there and doing GREAT!  I know we’ll likely be missing a lot of really important news here as we patch this together from scraps of notepaper and emails, so if we’ve left you out or you’d like your news posted here – please email us your news again so that we can help you brag!

Oct. 15th-17th London Canine Association: Vanderbilt’s Thunder Rose, “Rosie” (Thor x Yasmine) has her show ring debut after returning from Denmark where she had 2 litters with Kennel Cabaka.  Rosie picked up WB/BW/BB/Grp 4 for 4 pts under j. Lawrence Stanbridge; WB/BW/BB for 2 pts under j. Lisa Avery ; and WB/BW/BB for 2 pts under j. Phyllis Pancel for an 8 point weekend.

Oct. 27th-30th, 2010 – Samoyed Club of America National Specialty, Pigeon Forge, TN – Congrats to Kr.Can.Am.Ch. Innwangsan E-Fabianna of Pole Jumper, “Ssack Ssack” (Heero x Escada) on her AOM under j. Mardee Ward.  Also winning ribbons were Vanderbilt’s Act Of Gold, “Crosby” (Solo x Rosie) 4th in 6-9 month puppy dog under j. Annella Cooper, and Vanderbilt’s Spring Rain, “Spring” (Jasper x Rain) with 3rd in 12-18 month bitch under j. Celinda Cheskawich.

Nov. 19th-21st, 2010 Ottawa KC – Congrats to Vanderbilt’s Act Of Gold, “Crosby” winning 3 x WD/BW/BB/BPIG and a Grp 4 and BPIS under judges David Oljavo, Enrique Filippini and Conny Otero.

Nov. 26th – 28th, 2010 Caledon Kennel Association – A good weekend for “Gordon” (Cabaka’s Gordon of Yacker) winning WD/BW/BB/BPIG/Grp. 4 under j. Dr. John Reeve-Newson; WD under j. Michael Hill, and WD/BW/BPIG under j. Nina Karlsdotter for a 4 pt weekend.  Our girl “Rosie” (Vanderbilt’s Thunder Rose) wins WB/BW/BB/Grp 3 for 4 pts under j. Michael Hill to finish her Can.Ch. title undefeated in the breed in 4 shows and with 2 Group placements in Southern Ontario competition.  As a move up the next day she was BB under j. Nina Karlsdotter.
